Seven Foundational Teachings (2 of 7)
The word dissonance means: "A lack of harmony among musical notes, a tension or clash resulting from the combination of two disharmonious or unsuitable elements." At salvation/rebirth (John. 3:7, Romans 10:9, 10, 13) we are given the mind of Christ via His Spirit deposited in us (1 Cor. 2:16, Gal. 4:6). Because He is the Spirit of truth (John 16:13), as we abide in His word, the truth sets us free (John 8:31, 32). However, the flow of His Spirit/The River of Life/the perfect harmony of His voice that sets us free, is neutralized and short-circuited by Dissonant Frequencies (thought-patterns that are out of tune with The Father's voice). Jeremiah the Prophet, in the Old Testament, referred to this alien matter as "evil thoughts" lodged within us (Jeremiah 4:14). These toxic ways of thinking acts as countermeasures to hearing, seeing, and speaking in agreement with The Father's Voice. In other words, the battle is for our thought-life (Proverbs 23:7). To begin the process of removing Dissonant Frequencies from our souls, we need to understand the variables involved. There are three primary variables that frame up Dissonant Frequencies: Enemy Accusations (Eph. 6:16, Rev. 12:10), Primal Offenses (Gen. 3:11, 12, 13), and False Mindsets (2 Cor. 10:5, Romans 12:2).
