Soul Recon (Reconnaissance) is the discipline of asking the Holy Spirit to "spy out the land of our hearts" to identify “soul wounds.” The three soul wounds that Soulbyte goes after are: lies, unconfessed sin, and unforgiveness (Ps. 139:23-24). Faith cannot be cultivate in the soil of our hearts if we are holding onto any of these three dissonant frequencies. Lies are from the enemy and, if agreed with, form fallen mindsets and mental strongholds that nullify faith (2 Cor. 10:5, Matt. 16:23). Unconfessed Sin creates footholds/open doors for the enemy to exploit (John 5:14, Eph. 4:26-27). Unforgiveness keeps a child of God in bondage and gives the enemy legal right to oppress and torment (John 20:23, Matt. 18:34-35). We must make all of these enemies of faith part of the footstool of Jesus (Heb. 10:12-13) if we are to harness the power of "faith that overcomes the world" (1 John 5:4).
